Over 200 years of traditional sports of Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling, Fell & Guide Races, Hound Trailing and Foot & Cycle Races. There are many additional activities and attractions including the Made In Cumbria market of which we are part. This aspect fully illustrates just how active Cumbria is in producing its own products - fine locally grown and reared foods, hand-made artifacts such as jewellery, pottery & glassware and of course high quality hand-made Bath & Body products such as our very own PURE LAKES range.

Directions:-
FROM SOUTH:-J36 off M6, A590 towards Barrow & Kendal, road continues as A591 through Kendal and Windermere to Ambleside, take the one-way system through Ambleside north towards Grasmere and Keswick, about a mile on the right is the entrance to the showground
FROM NORTH:-J40 off M6, A66 towards Keswick, at Keswick take the A591 south to Grasmere, past Thirlmere Lake on your right and then over the rise and down into Grasmere Vale. Continue along past Grasmere for about 3 miles to Rydal. The entrance to the showground is on the left just after leaving Rydal.
