Coniston Country Fair

This Fair attracts thousands of visitors each year and takes place in a delightful setting on the shores of the world famous Coniston Lake. Traditional sports of Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling, Fell Races and Hound Trailing are part of the attraction. The dedicated Craft Marquee, where we can be found, has always been a major attraction as most of the stands will be of a local or rural based nature - as of course we are.

Directions:-
FROM SOUTH:-J36 off M6, A590 towards Barrow & Kendal. Stay on the A590 towards Ulverston & Barrow. At Greenodd, turn right onto the A5092 towards Broughton in Furness. After about 3 miles, look on your right for the B5084 to Torver and Coniston. Coniston Hall is situated about 1.5 miles south of Coniston itself
FROM NORTH:-J40 off M6, A66 towards Keswick, at Keswick take the A591 south to Grasmere, past Thirlmere Lake on your right and then over the rise and down into Grasmere Vale. Continue along past Grasmere and on to Ambleside. Take the junction to Coniston. Coniston Hall is situated about 1.5 miles south of Coniston itself
