Coniston Water Festival

Over a hundred years old, this popular Festival takes place in a delightful setting on the shores of the world famous Coniston Lake. Based around water activities there will be canoe races, stone skimming and even 'It's a Knockout'! With a name like Pure Lakes we just have to be there.

FROM SOUTH:-J36 off M6, A590 towards Barrow & Kendal. Stay on the A590 towards Ulverston & Barrow. At Greenodd, turn right onto the A5092 towards Broughton in Furness. After about 3 miles, look on your right for the B5084 to Torver and Coniston. The Fair will be in thge Car Park of the Bluebird Cafe on the Lake Shore
FROM NORTH:-J40 off M6, A66 towards Keswick, at Keswick take the A591 south to Grasmere, past Thirlmere Lake on your right and then over the rise and down into Grasmere Vale. Continue along past Grasmere and on to Ambleside. Take the junction to Coniston. The Fair will be in thge Car Park of the Bluebird Cafe on the Lake Shore
