- Final participant numbers must be confirmed 14 days before the class.
- You will be charged for the confirmed number, even if fewer people attend on the day.

- The organiser is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or external costs.
4. Venue Requirements (for off‑site or private locations)
If the class is held at your chosen venue, you agree to provide:
- A suitable workspace with tables, ventilation, and access to water.
- Electrical outlets (if required for melting wax or heating equipment).
- Adequate space for all participants to work safely.
- Parking or unloading access for equipment and materials.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse to run the class if the venue is deemed unsafe or unsuitable. In such circumstances, any refund, transfer or alternative arrangement will be at the organiser's discretion, taking into account the nature of the issue and whether it could reasonably have been identified in advance.
5. Attendance & Late Arrival

- Late arrivals may miss key safety instructions; participation may be refused without refund.
- Participants must be at least 16 years old unless otherwise agreed.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
6. Health & Safety
Candle and soap making involve handling sharp tools, hot wax, essential oils, and heated equipment.
By booking a group class, you confirm that all participants will:
- Follow safety instructions at all times.
- Wear the protective equipment provided.
- Disclose allergies or sensitivities before the event.
· Understand that the workshops are practical activities involving materials and equipment which carry inherent risks if not handled correctly.
· Medical Conditions & Pregnancy – If you are pregnant, nursing, or have any underlying health conditions (such as asthma, epilepsy, or high/low blood pressure), please consult a medical professional before using our products or participating in our experiences. Certain essential oils may not be suitable for specific conditions.
· We reserve the right to refuse participation where we reasonably believe a participant's health, safety, or wellbeing, or that of others, may be at risk.
· The organiser is not liable for injuries caused by failure to follow instructions.
Please note that soap making is a practical, hands-on activity that involves quite a bit of stirring and mixing. Some stages can be physically demanding and require a steady hand and good manual control. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate comfortably, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss your needs. Assistance is available during the class.
7. Clothing & Personal Items
- Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting messy.
- Aprons are provided.
- The organiser is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal belongings.
8. Alcohol & Behaviour
- Alcohol consumption before or during the class is not permitted unless explicitly agreed in advance.
- The organiser reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who appears intoxicated or unsafe, with no refund.
9. Damage & Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.
The organiser is not liable for:
- Loss or damage to participants’ personal belongings
- Injuries caused by misuse of equipment or failure to follow safety instructions
- Allergic reactions where relevant information was not disclosed in advance
- Any damage caused to the venue or equipment by participants may be chargeable.
10. Photography & Media
· Photographs and videos may be taken during the class for promotional purposes. If any participant does not wish to appear in images or video, please inform the organiser at the start of the session and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.
